چکیده

Short-term frequency regulation is important for the safety and efficiency of power systems based on wind generation units. However, unmodeled dynamics stochastic disturbances in speed load present a challenge regulation. This paper offers scheme that caters doubly fed induction generator-based units requiring short-term To this end, data-driven additive controller cast into framework. Since survival information potential (SIP) random variable has some advantages over potential, SIP deviation presented order to simultaneously evaluate droop control inertial control. Thereafter, optimal coefficient can be obtained using particle swarm optimization technique an arithmetic mean filter. Finally, simulation results demonstrate effectiveness proposed approach traditional strategies.

Stochastic Short-Term Hydro-Thermal Scheduling Based on Mixed Integer Programming with Volatile Wind Power Generation

This study addresses a stochastic structure for generation companies (GenCoʼs) that participate in hydro-thermal self-scheduling with a wind power plant on short-term scheduling for simultaneous reserve energy and energy market. In stochastic scheduling of HTSS with a wind power plant, in addition to various types of uncertainties such as energy price, spinning /non-spinning reserve prices, unc...

Short-Term Frequency Response of a DFIG-Based Wind Turbine Generator for Rapid Frequency Stabilization

This paper proposes a short-term frequency-response scheme of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind turbine generator (WTG) for improving rotor speed recovery and frequency nadir. In the energy-releasing period, to improve the frequency nadir and rotor speed convergence by releasing a large amount of kinetic energy stored in the rotating masses in a DFIG-based WTG, the power refere...

A Low-Order System Frequency Response Model for DFIG Distributed Wind Power Generation Systems Based on Small Signal Analysis

Integrating large amounts of wind power into power systems brings a large influence on the dynamic frequency response characteristic (DFRC). The traditional low-order system frequency response (SFR) model is no longer applicable at the current time. Based on the small signal analysis theory, a set of novel low-order SFR models for doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) distributed wind power gen...

Development of Wind Power Generation Model with DFIG for Varying Wind Speed and Frequency Control for Wind Diesel Power Plant

The power generation with non-renewable energy sources has very harmful effects on the environment as well as these sources are depleting. On the other side the renewable energy sources are quite unpredictable source of power. The best trade-off is to use the combination of both kind of sources to make a hybrid system so that their individual power generation constraints can be overcome. The hy...
